Do you Baby Boo
Howdy and welcome to the live writing channel of my brain! Most of you may know me for my reporting live videos. It’s a brand I built while traveling through the world. Now some of you are wondering what will I get out of this blog… Well this first blog is to outline what you will expect to get from my blogs. Nothing. Muahahahha this is for me and to keep all my crazy thoughts in order because boy do I have a lot of ideas – some are arguably crazy and some are brilliant! I have always been an individual who can’t stay still – goals keep me going but lately I have found myself coming to the realization that I have met all my goals because I’m awesome. As such, I began to seek other avenues to keep my mind busy and focused. I listened to “How to be a BAWSE,” by Lilly Singh which sparked my interest to begin blogging. My goals are the following:
- Learn to Love My awesome and amazing self
- Develop self control when it comes to the following:
- Working out – Dieting & Set Goals
- Stop being so mean to my boyfriend
- Looking FOMO in the eye and saying NO, in order to save and buy a house by 2020
OK , I am going to be real with you I think I got #1 down so let’s start with #2. Remember you control your mind, your mind doesn’t control you. You need to be one with you mind – What causes you to react in a way where you may regret your actions? You need to get to the core of what ticks you off. Once you are able to identify you are able to control it. You need to know yourself so well you can write an IKEA manual on YOU. Make yourself feel better in a more constructive way instead of being mean back just remind yourself that maybe they are not having a good day. Let’s get uncomfortable what are the 3 things I need to do in order to succeed
- Stop Dranking – let’s face it I have been partying and dranking for a very long time and before it didn’t really seem to get in the way of things but lately I think it has really taken a toll on my weight gain and temper control. The calories are ridiculous – is it worth that moment of numbness or buzzed feeling? Not to mention a hangover in the morning. It prevents me from thinking straight and rational in a heated moment. Not saying there is anything wrong with it, however I think it is very healthy to take a break. For example, this year (Jan 2019) I started taking breaks from social media and I felt like the cleanse really made a different. I find myself not needing to post every little thing as before or comparing myself to others. Be secretive – don’t let everyone see your vulnerability because they can use that to hurt you. Breaks are good for the soul, as such I have made an executive decision to take a 6 month break from dranking effective 09/05/2019. I will make sure to give ya’ll live updates on my weight and temper control during those 6 months.
- Communicate – if something bothers you it’s best not to hold it in, instead vocalize your opinion. Whether it be at work, at home, in your relationship, with your friends, etc. This will be beneficial for my relationship and will help me achieve goal #2 bullet point #2. Currently, one may argue that I keep things in – so I don’t seem like a nagger but in fact it results in making one more mad as the little things start to build. <– We need to touch on this more and find more context for you
